Inspired by the U.S. military fatigue trousers, commonly known as Baker Pants, issued during the 1960s, these utility shorts reinterpret a military classic through YANKSHIRE’s modern perspective. While preserving the functionality and rugged character of the original design, they are refined for contemporary everyday wear.
The fabric is made from genuine U.S. Army deadstock vintage back satin, originally produced for military use. Woven with a dense structure and subtle sheen, the fabric offers both durability and comfort. With continued wear, it develops natural fading and character marks, creating the rich patina unique to vintage military garments.
The silhouette follows the relaxed proportions of the original fatigue pants, offering generous room and a naturally wide fit. The clean, straight shape provides comfort while maintaining a timeless military-inspired appearance that works effortlessly in modern styling.
