The 1935 ORIGINAL CHAMBRAY faithfully recreates one of BIG YANK's most iconic work shirts from the 1930s. Combining the functional beauty and practicality that defined vintage workwear, this timeless piece brings the spirit of the original into the present day.
Its signature feature is BIG YANK's distinctive asymmetrical "Gacha Pocket" design. Alongside this iconic layout, authentic patented details—including the Elbow Action Sleeves, which improve arm mobility, and the Strain-Proof Yoke, designed to reduce stress across the shoulders and back—faithfully reproduce the innovative engineering that made BIG YANK work shirts legendary.
Crafted from Japanese-made 20 × 30 selvedge chambray dyed with sulfur dye, the fabric gradually softens with wear and washing, developing rich fading and a unique patina that reflects years of use.
