This distinctive detail combines strong visual presence with practical utility and has become an enduring symbol of BIG YANK’s heritage. A metal button at the tip adds durability and a rugged accent.
On the right side, a gusseted convenient pocket creates the asymmetrical "gacha-poke" layout. This design originated from functional thinking in the 1940s and is a hallmark of authentic American workwear. The mountain pocket itself was originally developed to protect paper cigarettes from sweat and moisture before film wrapping was common, and its structure was officially trademarked in 1942.
