Based on one of BIG YANK's iconic work shirts from the 1940s, the 1942 SHIRT PLAID FLANNEL combines authentic workwear details with soft plaid flannel fabric for everyday versatility.
The signature Mountain Pocket on the left chest was originally developed to protect cigarettes from moisture and perspiration, combining practical functionality with BIG YANK's unmistakable design. A Cigarette Pocket on the right chest completes the brand's iconic asymmetrical pocket layout.
Storm Cuffs help reduce snagging during movement, while the patented Strain-Proof Yoke improves mobility across the shoulders and back. These signature details showcase the functional innovation that has defined BIG YANK workwear for generations.
Crafted from soft brushed plaid flannel, the fabric offers warmth, comfort, and a substantial feel while remaining easy to layer. Its rich texture develops even more character with continued wear, making it an ideal work shirt for the cooler seasons.
