The 1943 SPORTS JACKET is a modern reinterpretation of a vintage 1940s BIG YANK sports jacket, faithfully preserving its original structure and silhouette while refining it through contemporary craftsmanship and materials.
Crafted from 100% wool old melton, the fabric features a dense, heavyweight construction that enhances the jacket’s classic presence. Its substantial texture highlights the timeless appeal of traditional sportswear while delivering a refined and understated elegance.
At first wear, the jacket maintains a firm and structured feel, but over time it gradually adapts to the wearer’s body. The shoulders soften, the silhouette relaxes, and natural creases and creases develop, adding depth and individuality. Rather than a finished, static garment, it is designed to evolve and “grow” with wear.
