The 1955 COVERALL NEP DENIM is a modern reinterpretation of a vintage work coverall originally produced by the BIG YANK brand in the 1950s. While preserving the rugged construction designed to withstand demanding work environments, the garment has been carefully refined through a contemporary lens.
The fabric is a dungaree material featuring natural ecru neps that give the surface a distinctive textured appearance. Initially, the fabric presents a raw and rugged character, but with repeated wear and washing, the neps gradually soften and blend into the fabric, developing a rich and unique patina. This evolving character is one of the defining appeals of the piece.
Rather than being a finished, static product, it is designed to grow alongside the wearer’s lifestyle. Through daily use, the garment gradually develops the depth and character of a well-worn vintage piece, increasing in value and personality over time.
