A new era begins for BIG YANK as we welcome vintage specialist Yutaka Fujihara (BerBerJin) as Creative Director. This season marks a complete reconstruction of the brand’s identity. We are proud to announce the long-awaited launch of his first collection, which masterfully elevates BIG YANK's historic heritage into a contemporary context.
BIG YANK | MATT PANTS
Inspired by 1950s vintage work chinos, the "MATT PANTS" were designed by denim expert Yutaka Fujihara as the ultimate chino trousers he personally wanted to wear.
Authentic Vintage Construction
These pants feature distinctive details from the era, such as the unique double front belt loops, crotch gusset construction, and a brand label positioned on the exterior rather than the interior. Finished with a BIG YANK logo metal top button, every element reflects Mr. Fujihara’s uncompromising vision.
Character Through Aging
Crafted from a premium chino cloth dyed with vat dyes. The slub yarn fabric provides a rich, textured surface that becomes more pronounced with time. Much like raw denim, these chinos are designed to be "grown," developing a unique patina and character through years of wear.

*Notice: This garment may shrink slightly after washing. When air-dried, please expect a shrinkage of approx. 1.0–1.5 cm in the waist and 1.0–1.5 cm in the inseam.
