The M1945 Field Trousers were introduced in the final phase of World War II as a core part of the U.S. military uniform. Drawing inspiration from this historical piece, YANKSHIRE has faithfully reimagined the trousers, focusing on period-correct fabric, silhouette, and detailing with a modern sensibility.
The trousers are made from 100% cotton back satin, a dense and durable fabric featuring a smooth face and a soft, textured reverse. The fabric is sulfur-dyed, a method also used in original military garments of the era. Over time, the color naturally fades with wear and washing, gradually developing a uniquely aged look reminiscent of authentic vintage pieces.
A distinctive feature of this model is its stripped-down, minimal construction. By intentionally omitting cargo pockets and excessive detailing, the design brings greater focus to the material quality and clean silhouette. The cut is relaxed through the hips and thighs, yet the waist is neatly shaped for a more refined appearance.
The waistband is equipped with both suspender buttons and belt loops, allowing for versatile styling. Classic elements such as a button fly, side seam pockets, and flap back pockets complete the look. With its combination of historical authenticity, everyday wearability, and subtle sophistication, this pair of trousers perfectly embodies the spirit of YANKSHIRE.

*Please note that this garment may shrink after washing and sun drying. You can expect approximately 1 cm shrinkage in the waist and 1 to 1.5 cm in the inseam.
