The U54 QLS SHIRTS FUZZY BORDER is inspired by vintage 1950s work shirts, reinterpreted through BIG YANK’s signature approach to simplicity and functionality. While free from excessive decoration, it retains the practical details and atmospheric character of classic workwear.
The fabric features a softly brushed surface, creating a “fuzzy border” texture that adds depth and warmth to the classic striped pattern. This subtle fuzziness enhances the fabric’s character, resulting in a relaxed, understated look with a tactile, vintage-inspired feel.
An open-collar design provides excellent breathability, making the shirt comfortable even in peak summer heat. The open neckline creates a relaxed and airy impression, and pairs naturally with accessories such as bandanas or tenugui.
The sleeves feature a quarter-length sleeve (QLS) design, striking a balance between short and long sleeves. This versatile proportion ensures both lightness and structure, allowing the shirt to stand on its own as a complete look. Two simple patch pockets on the chest and side slits at the hem enhance functionality and ease of movement.
