The definitive evolution of the 1942 ORIGINAL. Directed by Yutaka Fujihara, this model is a meticulous reproduction of a 1940s vintage archive.
Iconic Details
Based on an original 1940s archive from Mr. Fujihara's personal collection, featuring the 1942 patented Yama-Poke (Mountain Pocket). A key update is the blue bar-tack stitching—a specific detail requested by Mr. Fujihara, reflecting his unwavering passion and commitment to authentic vintage craftsmanship.
Refined Fit
The pattern has been updated with a wider shoulder and neckline for modern comfort, while maintaining the classic long-front, short-back silhouette for mobility and style.
Premium Fabric
Woven with indigo rope-dyed yarns to replicate 1940s-style selvedge chambray. This durable fabric softens and gains a unique patina with every wash and wear.
