Based on a vintage BIG YANK shirt from the 1940s, this flannel check shirt has been reinterpreted with a modern, well-balanced fit. Distinctive details found on work shirts of the era, including the signature peaked pocket, have been faithfully reproduced to create BIG YANK’s classic look.
The shirt is made from 100% cotton sulfur-dyed check flannel. The distinctive faded appearance and richly layered colors seen in flannel shirts from the 1930s and 1940s have been carefully recreated from the yarn-dyeing stage.
With repeated wear and washing, the raised texture of the flannel gradually settles, while the fabric and colors develop greater depth. The longer it is worn, the more its natural aging process creates a unique character of its own.
