The ARCTIC SHORTS VTG POPLIN are YANKSHIRE’s modern interpretation of 1950s U.S. Army overpants, reimagined as versatile shorts for warmer weather. Combining military-inspired functionality with lightweight comfort, they are designed for both everyday wear and outdoor activities.
The shorts are crafted from genuine military surplus vintage poplin fabric. Made from an 80% cotton and 20% nylon blend, the material offers an ideal balance of lightness, durability, flexibility, and breathability. As the fabric ages, it gradually softens and develops character, creating a unique patina that reflects its vintage origins.
The design remains clean and highly functional. An adjustable drawcord waistband allows for a customized fit, while flap pockets on both sides provide practical storage and reinforce the military-inspired aesthetic. Every detail is designed with utility and ease of wear in mind.
