The 1912 MFG SHIRT 105TH SPECIAL is a tribute to the Milton F Goodman Work Shirt, an early piece named after BIG YANK’s founder. This rare model, often referred to as the “Jumbo Shirt,” features distinctive extra panels running from the back to the underarms. It combines triple-needle felled seams, a double-layered yoke, and ventilating eyelets to create a remarkably elaborate construction.
A chin strap at the collar adds a functional touch to block wind, enhancing its utility. Though designed as a shirt, the weight and density give it the presence of a jacket.
Crafted from smooth black cotton satin, the fabric stands out for its rich luster. This deep black tone was a rare choice in early 1910s workwear and adds sophistication to any outfit. Blending historical authenticity with modern versatility, this shirt represents both the beginning and the evolution of BIG YANK.
